Job Responsibilities: |
- Managing complicated medical cases requires a thorough and coordinated approach to ensure effective treatment and patient safety.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation for continuity of care.
- Prescribe and ensure appropriate drugs and medical treatment.
- Perform major surgery for selective and emergency cases (C-section, Hysterectomy, tubectomy, ovarian cystectomy etc).
- Follow up of pre-operative and post-operative cases.
- On-the-job training/ Capacity Building mechanisms for newly joined doctors and midwives.
- Supervision of nursing staff and doctors at the DH.
- Health education to the women regarding to their problems.
- Provide ANC/PNC to high-risk mothers.
- Perform normal delivery and breech extraction if there is any difficulty.
- Accountable to the patient and have a friendly behavior with the patient.
- Work within hospital’s rules and regulations.
- Implement induced/augmented labor if needed.
- Participate in training and meetings as needed.
- Perform related administrative duties and ensure patient’s documentations are completed.
- Ensure that all procedures related to infection prevention are followed correctly.
- Carry out ultra-sound examinations as needed.
- Perform other duties directed by the supervisor and line manager.

Job Requirements: |
- MD degree with specialization in Gyn/Obs approved by Ministry of Public Health.
- 1-3 Years Relevant working experience in DH, RH or PH as Specialized Gyn/Obs.
- Good local languages along with English language skills.
- Good Computer Skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
