- Preparing of work plan according to the general plan of relevant administration.
- Participation in all workshops and seminars organizes for children, for the awareness of children situation.
- Managing child protection cases considering all the case requirement, facilitating regular case conferences.
- Conducting meeting with children, families and community leader to bring changes in the children life and create a protective environment for them.
- Conducting trainings on child rights issues, CPiE, PFA, positive discipline in everyday parenting, safe identification and referrals in targeted communities.
- Explanation and description of CRC (Child Rights Convention) to the targeted children in communities
- Coordinate children issues with service providers in a systematic manner, considering the best interest of the child and Do No Harm principle,
- Conduction of rapid/ assessment and field test survey as per questionnaire developed.
- Identification and reporting of key issues to CP Sr. officer, which affecting children in the targeted communities
- Actively participate in conduction of survey with children, guardians, parents + care givers, local business, local civil societies and local administration.
- To assist the CP Officers in provision of relevant information that helps them to present to CPAN (while during sharing outcomes).
- Collecting update data/ information that reflect and prioritize the situation and magnitude of children in the targeted communities.
- To assist the CP Officers in data entry and analyzing and reporting the situation of children in targeted communities.
- Establishing and maintaining good relationship with stakeholders and community and creating an environment that community feel ownership.
- Maintain and effective filing system for storing project documentation in accordance with standard procedures.
- To work in close collaboration with other team members - having sense of collaboration, support and integration with other team members
- Meeting with the community/ elders and institutions in project target areas, in order to ensure their participation and cooperation.
- Report any child safeguarding concerns related to Save the Children Child Safeguarding focal point considering the SCI - Child Safeguarding Policy
- To assist the CP Officer, to develop case studies of successes, challenges, and other project experiences to assist organizational learning;
- Ensure the effective and efficient use of all SC Afghanistan resources in order to keep costs low and ensure safety in the workplace
