Job Purpose:
Accountable to the Pharmacy officer. The Pharmacy supplier is responsible for supporting the pharmacist in the hospital/health facility pharmacy section from the order, the reception, and the storage of medical supplies, to the control of suitability in the management of hospital/HF requests.
Job Responsibilities:
  • The Pharmacy supplier is responsible to supporting the pharmacist for dispensing or supervising the dispensation of medications and related supplies, according to physicians' prescriptions.
  • Manage end-to-end supply chain process for pharmaceutical, nutrition product, medical device and medical equipment requirements.
  • Ensure physical inspection of overall stock and proper placement of products as per the SOPs.
  • Oversee the warehouse staff are properly managing and storing the stock at controlled conditions
  • Be responsible for ensuring that all needed supplies of pharmaceuticals are in place for the function of the health facility
  • Assist in reviewing supply orders for accuracy.
  • Provide support to the pharmacist in preparing drug orders.
  • Under the supervision of a pharmacist overseeing daily ordering, as well as automatic refills
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to plan, monitor, review, and evaluate patient effectiveness.
  • Be responsible for ensuring that medical products, such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and supplies, are delivered efficiently and safely to healthcare providers, such as hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies
  • Ensure the supply of products or services of sufficient quality
  • Perform any other required project-related tasks

 
Job Requirements:
  1. At least 2 years of proven experience at field BPHS.
  2. Medical Doctor degree.
  3. Strong communication skills.
  4. Fluent in English, Pashto, and Dari with excellent speaking and writing skills.
  5. Proficient computing skills – word processing, spreadsheet design, and presentations.
