Job Purpose:
To be responsible for implementing:
Job Responsibilities:

To coordinate and communicate CDC & Lab related health services with PHD and other stakeholders.

Conduct regular CDC/Lab coordination meetings with PHD/CDC and other CDC implementing stakeholders.

Assist M/E team in supervision and follow up of CDC/Lab health services provision

. To coordinate and communicate CDC related inauguration days, supply of CDC &Lab guidelines, IEC materials etc with CDC/Lab implementing stakeholders.

To coordinate developing of outbreak control plans with M/E team and CDC/Lab Implementing stakeholders.

To coordinate and make ensure regular slide sending and cross checking.


2. Planning:

To develop joint monthly supervision/monitoring plan with M/E team and other stakeholders.

To develop CDC & Lab related improvement plans.

To develop supervision/monitoring based action plans and coordinate with M/E team.

To support the BPHS Program Manager regarding developing of the annual action plan.

To develop outbreaks and emergencies control plans during any emergencies.

To plan and regularly implement TB improvement mechanisms such as daily triage at HFs level, monthly mobile outreach at community level and TB outreach screening for Kochies.

3. Meetings:

To attend CDC & Lab task force meetings.

To attend CDC & Lab quarterly review workshops

To attend CDC annual review workshops.

To attend urgent Emergency/Outbreaks meetings with PHD/CDC/DWS and other stakeholders.

To attend CDC events/meetings at district level.

To attend HFs managers monthly meetings on need based.

4. Supervision/Monitoring:

To supervise and monitor CDC & Lab health service provision in HFs based on standard CDC & Lab supervisory/monitoring checklist.

To provide regular monitoring and supervision feedback to HFs.

To follow and make ensure timely implementation of supervision/monitoring based action plan.

To asses and improve CDC and Lab health service quality.

To conduct joint monitoring and supervision visits with PHD/CDC and other stakeholders.




5. Capacity Building:

To develop and implement CDC & Lab on the job trainings plan on regular monthly bases.

To assist training dept for CDC & Lab related basic and refresher trainings.

To assist training dept as training facilitator for CDC & Lab related trainings.

To assist training dept regarding TNA for CDC and Lab staff.

To assist training dept for training evaluation and staff performance

To Develop training planning and chronogram of programs

To Prepare curriculum for theoretical and practical parts of training sessions

6. Supply:

To make ensure CDC & Lab related drug and medical supply.

To make ensure supply of CDC & Lab related reagents, strips and other materials.

To make ensure supply of CDC & Lab related IEC material and guidelines.

Participate with procurement committee for the selection and purchasing of lab materials.

To request need based lab reagents and materials and keeping record of drug and lab items (balance sheet, consumption report and etc).

7. Reporting:

To provide monthly update and quarterly CDC/Lab activity reports.

To develop CDC/Lab annual activity report.

To Coordinate HIMS dept for timely submission of TB, lab, and HIV reports to NTP and NACP.

To make ensure timely submission of CDC & Lab related drug and activity reports to HMIC and Main pharmacy.

Skills, knowledge, and expertise
Must be graduated from Recognized Medical University.
Some experience in the relevant field.
Fluency in Pashto/ Dari languages and work-related English
Having Computer Skills.
