Job Purpose:
Assist with the development of performance and quality improvement tools and approaches; professional HFs supervision of mental health related activities and psychosocial activities, as well as community based disability and physical therapy to improved mental health and disabled care performance in Nangarhar and he will work under the direct supervision of Deputy Technical Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Work under the overall leadership of the provincial manager/Deputy technical manager as per project agreement in all catchment areas in Nangarhar province.
  • Ensure regular supportive supervision and technical inputs during field visits of all service delivery points in close coordination with other provincial office team members.
  • Responsible for monitoring and assessment of daily project activities in all service delivery points and preparing constructive feedback and report to concerned project staff.
  • Represent the organization in different provincial level health sessions and events like health surveillance meetings weekly and monthly PHO/PPHD meetings and scheduled and urgent based performance workshops at JACK provincial office level.
  • Prepare and submit regular project reports and data according to approved monthly action plan and field activities under the leadership of project focal point.
  • Work with project management health facility based distributors and measurers and local community people as per organization general guidelines and project work scope.
  • Maintain project performance and activities related data and documents both at health facility and project office level.
  • Responsible to improve performance of distributors and measurers at health facility level through regular on job training constructive feedback and orientation of project tasks.
  • Work together with other vertical projects staff health facility staff local PPHD WHO and other stakeholders for quality improvement of the project activities.
  • Ensure active participation in scheduled and urgent field visits and joint supervisions with other stakeholder’s regional office colleagues and local PPHD members.

 

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of proven experience at field BPHS.
  • Medical Doctor degree;
  • Strong communications skills.
  • Fluent English ,Pashto, and Dari with excellent speaking and writing skills
  • Proficient computing skills – word processing, spreadsheet design and presentations.
