| Job Responsibilities: |
- Pay attention for care of patients coming to the Hospital.
- Organizing patients flow in polyclinic.
- Participation in hospital management.
- Member of hospital leading team.
- Preparing night duty schedule for nurses and midwives.
- Responsible for collecting accurate and verified data from OPD and IPD.
- Improving the accuracy and consistency of registrations both in OPD and IPD.
- Supervision from wards and care of patients in polyclinic and IPD and cooperation with medical record.
- Follow up of drug supply and medical expendable in the hospital in cooperation with pharmacist.
- Leading Nursing morning report and report to hospital director.
- Ensuring correct and proper administration of medicine to patients.
- Preparing and submission of daily report of IPD patients.
- Organizing and follow up of handover of duty between nurses and midwives.
- Active participation in designing and implementation of in services trainings in the hospital.
- Respecting IP standard and using staff uniform by Nurses and Midwives during working time in the Hospital.
- Participating in sub-committees meetings related to nursing
- Follow up of implementation of related standards
- Active participation in quarterly assessment based on standards in related sections.
- Participation in development of action plan for implementation of standards and follow up of plan.
- Close cooperation with Medical director and Chief of departments.
- Build the capacity of him/her self about best practices and national guidelines.
- Any other tasks assigned by supervisor.

| Job Requirements: |
- Graduated nurse from recognized institutions certified with government of Afghanistan.
- At least Five years full-time experience in nursing care in provincial, regional, or equivalent hospitals.
- Strong communication of local and English language skills.
- Excellent knowledge of EPHS package.
- Priority will be given to those who are residents of Nangarhar.
