- Identify potential community infrastructure works related to Project area.
- Prepare technical documents, designs considered to the technical norms and specifications including the materials required for the sub-project. Submit prepared project proposal to CDCs and field team.
- Conduct market survey of the materials required for the project proposal development according to the design and site of work.
- Drawing up plans and presenting schedules of work, often with visual aids such as bar charts and procedures diagrams using specialist planning computer software.
- Analyzing construction sites and local environments to determine appropriate logistics solutions and resources.
- Plan and oversee the entire project technical works and must anticipate the demands in terms of labour, materials, equipment's and technical challenges.
- Assist the project staffs in project planning, execution, monitoring and maintenance of community based infrastructure projects.
- Work closely with field office staff and partners in technical aspects of projects proposal implementation in order to achieve the Project aims to agreed standards, budgets and timescales.
- Monitor progress on construction of projects proposal in sites.
- Monitor management of materials and devices to site supervisor according to work progress
- Supervise, guide, and provide advice/technical assistance to the project staff.
- To ensure all technical documents submitted to the project management Team are prepared according to the standard rules and engineering design. Assist and advise on procedures and guidelines for their proper adaptation in regard of quality control, monitoring system and work completion quantitative and qualitative evaluations.
- Review the progress, quality and safety on the specific project site. Bring to the attention of the project Management any design modifications that may be required during the implementation.
- Prepare BOQs and designs for sites.
- Supervise and monitor physical work on Sites.
- Ensure projects activities are according to work plan and technical specifications.
- Check projects progress against daily work plan.
- All work completion reports should have all project related documents, include the process documents, technical quality control report, labour report, sustainability report and in case if necessary in remoteness areas, photo features of different stages of construction.
- Any other task assigned by the Project Manager.
