Job Purpose: |
Community Mobilizer will be based in Helmand field Office and will be hired to identify and select the beneficiaries, meet with local stakeholders, and assist the project manager in project implementation. |
Job Responsibilities: |
The followings are the main responsibilities of Community Mobilizer:
- Mobilize the community and beneficiaries and provide them awareness regarding the project activities.
- Support to conduct project relevant data collection in project area.
- Support project and provincial team to implement project activities in the community with innovative ideas.
- Support the team in planning and organizing community’s awareness and community mobilization sessions.
- Identification of the most vulnerable families for Cash for work as per selection criteria.
- Engage and mobilize community members in group sessions.
- Work closely with the community elders and CDCs members in selecting the target communities.
- Conduct awareness training and conduct information campaign on the field according to the communities and CDCs member's knowledge levels.
- Prepare work plan and report for all activities.

Job Requirements: |
- Minimum of 3 years’ working experiences on similar position
- Bachelor Degree or similar degree;
- Required Languages – Excellent Pashto and Dari reading, writing and verbal skills, Fluent in English, reading, writing and verbal skills.
- Travel – The position will be based in Helmand with frequent travels to the districts.

- Strong report writing skills;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Capacity to perform effectively under pressure and harsh conditions; ability to handle confidential and politically sensitive issues in a responsible and mature manner;
- Excellent capacity development and teamwork skills; cross-cultural and gender sensitivity;
